Same boats, but in a new home

After 14 years of developing the Memory, Tela and Wagtail range, Greg and Annette are to take more of a back seat and Salterns boats will now be built and run by Jeremy Freeland of Collars of Oxford under the newly formed company, Salterns Boats Ltd. With large workshops situated on the edge of a private lake in Dorchester on Thames, it provides the perfect setting for viewing the craft either on or off the water.

Jeremy has been involved in the range for many years; supplying the spars that adorn all of the boats. With a shared appreciation of, and desire for, good design and quality there is no doubt that he will be an excellent custodian for these traditional boats, and the move will enhance their reputation for quality and performance.

Salterns Boats Ltd will provide new boats, brokerage, parts, renovations etc, in fact, everything you would have expected from Greg. Indeed, Greg and Jeremy will be working closely together and they will both be in the usual spot at the Southampton Boat Show in September.
